10, Hanover Terrace,
Regents Park,
London, N.W.1
[About 1 November 1953]
Dear Eslyn
Here is John South’s address. I hope all goes well with you? We have got our gigantic bookcase, but have to have six men to carry it upstairs. They will come at dawn tomorrow.
Much love
Ursula.
1. UVW enclosed a letter from a young composer, John South (see VWL2988), dated 30 October: ‘Thank you very much indeed for your letter and introduction to the Kennedies. It will be most helpful to know some people in the musical world who know Manchester, and I shall be very interested to meet them. The above address is a temporary one, but I will write again when we are all settled up here and know how we are placed. Kindest regards to the Maestro’.
