(1) Gordon Jacob will soon be sending you the 6 folk-tune marches for Fife & Drum band – I enclose his receipt
(2) C^d you look out for me what Novellos original contract with Mr Sharp¹ & me was with regard to folk-tunes – The Oxf: Press² are going to publish my Norfolk Rhapsody which uses one or two of the tunes for my “Folk-songs from the Eastern counties” – & I do not know if I shall have to ask there³ leave or not.
(3) Could you at your leisure look me out some of the Appallachian⁴ tunes which you want me to set so that I can have them to browse over –
I hope we shall get the hideous house in Holland Park⁵
