Letter from Ursula Vaughan Williams to Norman Del Mar
Letter No.: VWL3194
September 21st 1958
Dear Norman,
I think that this break is always hardest when you have worked with someone you also loved – but because one has had the most, & misses the most – there is still the great comfort to you, I hope, in knowing how much it meant to Ralph to see you growing so richly and fully – and as it were, so well looked[?]1 –
I am so glad we all had that last Cheltenham Festival – it was a full & happy & serene summer for us – and everything as one would wish if it had been known as a last time.
With love
Ursula
