Letter from Ursula Vaughan Williams to Mr Martin Shaw
Letter No.: VWL4248
Mrs. R. Vaughan Williams, 10 Hanover Terrace, London, N.W.1.
Tuesday [3 September, 1957]
Ralph is coming out on Thursday which is lovely. He has made a magnificent recovery1, & will be twice as good as new. He’s had quite an agreeable time in hospital as everyone has been enchanting to him, & he’s been able to work all the time a bit, & he has worked Havoc among the pretty nurses. I think he will be much missed.
We’d love to know how you both are.
fondest love from both to both
Ursula.
