Dear Mr Bush,
I am so sorry to have been so long in finding out abut Ralph’s National Music but no one could say anything until the head of the OUP returned from South Africa just before Christmas; & then it was discovered that the work had been printed in America & so on & so on.  The general upshot though, is satisfactory.  I saw Mr Brown of the OUP yesterday, & they want to reprint.  As soon as terms are arranged with Bryn Mawr they will go ahead, so it should be back in circulation before very long, and not too expensively.  I made a point of this.
I think you may be interested to know that Imogen Holst & I are editing a book of letters & early writings by her father & Ralph, from 1895 onwards, and we thought it would be interesting to end with Ralphs talk on Stanford & Parry as teachers, (as the book starts when both were their pupils) that he gave to your composer’s concourse.
