Dear Joyce
We have compared the two photographs and we both agree in liking the small one best – it is somewhat more concentrated? I like to have it very much & it’s most interesting to hear the comments on it – every one different!
I think sometimes it looks ahead like the Radio Times that alludes to the last 12th of October as R’s 80th birthday.1 What do R’s photographs cost – please let me know. I am sending back the large size one.
We are encouraging the Michael Mullinars to come South. They are obliged to move – There ought to be some work for one of such special gifts.
Our love and many thanks for the photograph. R no longer sees the German Composer in it. I never did.
Yrs
AMVW.
Please forgive awful smudges
