Dear Gerald,

R was at the O.U.P. yesterday and had a talk with Alan Frank about making Morris’ music better known as you have suggested.¹
R has been asked to write something for the RCM Magazine² but he feels he cannot do it and has told the Editor that you are the person to do this and he does very much hope that you will – he would add a postcript³ if needed.
