Dearest Ann
Your poor precious arches – R says “It’s that bicycle” – it is that perhaps, but added to so much more.
The sewing machine will be a change from pulling nails out of the floor. South Hawke is certain to be a lovely home. You have the gift – I thought Quakers Orchard so perfect.
We braced ourselves for Wozzeck1 but I gave out at the end of Act 1 leaving R to listen further.
It was really easy listening in a way for it came through so clearly but what a terrific evening from the conductor & all concerned.
Our love – and take every care of yourself – and if you can do that now you will soon be right.
Yours
AMVW
