My Dear Randolph
I send you herewith your own especial goat1 which has just come out2 .
It is my best work I believe up to the present – and so however feeble it may be I love to think of it with your initials at the top – it cd have no better fate.
How splendid to think of you being at Cambridge Sat: week. Give my love to Iris.
Yrs

1. This seems to be a reference to goats in the sense of not being sheep..
2. Presumably the Vocal Score of A Sea Symphony (dedicated to Wedgwood) had just been published. The first edition was published by Breitkopf & Härtel in 1909.
