In case you are hung up for a metre I believe that for a slow serious song (e.g. The proposed new duet for Empress & Tor1) heroic couplets would be good – or at all events rhyming lines of 10 syllables – possibly a stanza of 6 lines – many of the Elizabethan songs are like this, but doubtless you have finished by now – in which case ignore this. Here till Feb 4.
