Certainly – I think it a v. good plan.¹   By the way is it possible to get in to any of Toscanini’s rehearsals – I should like so much to see how it is done.²

1.  The reference here is not clear.  Possibly it refers to plans for VW to conduct a promenade concert – see VWL1263.
2.  The times are noted on the original in the hand of Gwen Beckett: ‘10-1 Jun 3,5,12,14 Q.H.’ These were the dates on which Toscanini conducted the BBC Symphony Orchestra recording in 1935.
