My Dear Niece
I loved getting your letter – we had a good time together didn’t we? – only all too short – if we cd only have escaped from that long dinner! But you are going to tell me when you come to your slum1 – mind I’ve got the pamphlet about pipes & viols – it may lead to something.
I shall always think of you in that pretty white frock & green hat and blue shoes!
love from
Uncle Ralph
