Dear Vally

I heard just now from Mrs O’Neill1 that Gustav was not so well.2 So I rung up Ealing – he is better again & Dr Jones does not think he is in danger.  There was a haemorrhage but it has now stopped and he is comfortable.  The haemorrhage came on early this morning and he was taken to a nursing home in Ealing.  Isabel3 has come up & is now stopping with Miss Jones.
So I think all is going well & they are ringing me up tomorrow morning.
I promised to let you know as they cannot get you on the phone.
Yrs
