I trust you entirely – please do what you like with the pfte part. – Now about the end – As I said in a former letter – the quotation from Arnold is a mistake for public performance.¹ But thinking it over I cannot substitute anything – so please omit it & go straight from the end of the cadenza to the final bars. Good luck to you.
