Westcott Road,
Dorking.
[22nd July 1934]
My dear Diana
I am practically well now – only can’t put my foot to the ground yet, but that will come in a day or two.1 It will be lovely if you are singing in the festival. I’ve been thinking so much of you these days.
Love from
Uncle Ralph
1. VW had cut his foot and an abscess had developed which kept him in bed for eight weeks – see R.V.W.: a biography, p.201.
