Dear Ursula
I have got seats for Ballet Joos1, Old Vic, Wednesday, June 8th. I do hope that is all right for you. Tell me where I shall find you – I finish teaching about 5.0. I shall have to be in my day clothes so will you be the same? I hope you won’t mind.
I believe I like you best as I first saw you in your short day frock rather than in full evening – but perhaps that would dazzle me even more?
“Ah! When will this long weary day have end”2
