I don’t see why we can’t meet at Winchester Station about 3.
We had a lovely picnic in Combe bottom yesterday Gaga Vuff² & the Somers Cocks³ & then a drive to Ewhurst etc –

1.  AVW had addressed the letter to Rose Cottage at Stapleford, near Salisbury, where VW was ‘on retreat’ and had begun composing after a period of writer’s block.
