I had already written direct by air mail to your mother. But here are the facts which you might repeat in your next letter to Canada in case mine fails to arrive.
Have a good time my dear with Michael & let me know how you are – I hope all will go well with you.
You must have looked a lovely vision to your c.o.s. etc

1. The note is written on the reverse of a letter from the War Office to the National Council of Social Service dated 17th February 1941 responding negatively to a request that the Dorking Halls be de-requisitioned by the military in order to be used for entertaining troops and civilians.
