I have come to the conclusion that my new Symphony¹ must now go forward “for better, for worse’ – So would you like me to send it to you & see if you w^d like to do it (The orchestration may want a little revision (I am taking it to Gordon Jacob for that purpose, as usual).
It plays about 35 minutes – & though not technically difficult will I am sure want a good deal of rehearsal to make it “come off’ – so perhaps for that reason, if for no other, you may not think it suitable.
I am delighted that you approve of Gundry’s² Suite
