Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Joyce Hooper
Letter No.: VWL1904
The White Gates,
Dorking.
March 3 [1944]
Dear Mrs Hooper
I wonder if you can again come to the rescue – on March 18th (Saturday) Miss Cullen for certain & I probably have to be away – I have secured Nancy Todd for accompaniment – would you be so very kind as to “stand by” for that date in case I have to be away – they enjoyed it so much when you took the last rehearsal
Yours sincerely
R Vaughan Williams
