Dear Frank,

I find that I never answered you about printing the score of the “Partita”.  If it is not now too late I ought to see the manuscript and check it through before it goes to the printer.
I enclose herewith a piece of music with an assurance that it is not a breach of our “gentlemen’s agreement”, since the original Latin version was published by Curwen before the O.U.P. Music Section came into existence.¹
I also find I have not answered your letter of August 23rd. I agree to paying £5.5. 0d to Miss Williams for the pianoforte part of my Cantata, and that the amount should be deducted from my royalties.²

1. Probably the motet O Vos Omnes, Catalogue of Works 1922/2, which had been published by Curwen. An English version, Is it nothing to you, adapted by Maurice Jacobson was published by them in 1950.
2. Grace Williams had apparently prepared a fair copy of the vocal score of Sons of Light, Catalogue of Works 1950/3. See VWL2075.
