28th February, 1951.
Dearest Betty
I listened in on February 21st. Your work came as a great relief. It had vitality and purpose. I won’t say more after just a first hearing without seeing the score. You are getting performed at last, I am so glad. I must try and hear them.1
Yes come down one day in March, though I am rather full that month, but still as long as you do not choose March 13th, 14th, 27th or 28th I am sure we can manage something.
Love
Uncle Ralph
