Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Gerald Finzi

Letter No.: VWL2322

The White Gates,
Dorking, Surrey.

12th December, 1951.

Dear Gerald

This is not a “Collins”1 though it does contain my grateful thanks for a delightful visit to you both; but firstly I return your manuscript which I liked reading very much and secondly to tell you that I have asked Mrs. Hornstein2  to send you the score of a string suite by Müller-Hartmann3 which I like, and I hope you will like too.
My love to Joyce
