Dear Hubert,

I should very much like to know how far we have got with “The Bridal Day”. Before we get actually to business I must have the music back and revise it th[o]roughly. Also we should have a round table conference and decide whether, and if so, where, and what alterations we should make. We should also settle whether we want the addition of a speaking voice. Of course Mrs Wood would have to be consulted about this therefore I think she ought to be invited to the round table conference.
