Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Michael and Eslyn Kennedy
Letter No.: VWL2698
From R. Vaughan Williams,
The White Gates,
Westcott Road,
Dorking.
June 27th 1953,
Dear Michael and Eslyn,
It was so nice meeting you at Manchester. Such a meeting ought to have cured my cold, but it still continues, though much better.
I am glad you thought it was a good recording. I am no judge of these things myself.1
Love to you both
RVW
And, Eslyn, as one weeder to another, this is a moment of pleasure and pride as far as delphiniums, roses and sweet williams are concerned. I hope it is the same with you. Love.2
