Letter from Ursula Vaughan Williams to Michael Kennedy
Letter No.: VWL2756
22nd [January 1954]
As soon as we got the leaflets about bookings for P.P.1 you shall have one. I’m sure we shall have lovely weather & all will be well. The alternative seems to be a private plane at the D T’s2 expense??
Love from us both
Ursula.
1. i.e. for the performances of The Pilgrim’s Progress (Catalogue of Works 1951/1) taking place in Cambridge in February. See VWL2753.
2. The Daily Telegraph, where Kennedy was music critic. The weather was cold and the roads icy, making the journey difficult – see VWL2764.
