Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Roy Douglas
Letter No.: VWL2760
10, Hanover Terrace, N.W.1.
January 25th. [1954]
Dear Roy,
MS received: thank you very much. With regard to your queries, I have the punctuation of the Oxen as in my book, the editions seem all different.
Archangeli is correct, aweful is correct; affright is correct.
A few more corrections, in no.3, mild, not wild ocean. No 6. toward, not towards. No 12 world, not earth.1
(I am driving you all wild by my carelessness
U.)
Yours,
RVW
