I am sorry I cannot come to the Music Panel Meeting.
Would it be in order to suggest to you that brass bands should be included in the 1951 festival?² As I daresay you know they are the most popular form of music in England and their technique is wonderful; their taste shocking. Perhaps if we admitted them into the fold it would help them in that matter.
