Dear Mr Stubbs

It is only a question of room – we have about 20 guests (the room holds 40 at a pinch) & not 12 singers 4 quartet & piano & ? makes the & reciter makes 18 – Rather a squash but we’ll manage! Of course I shall love to see all the Tudors.¹ I have a few spare chorus parts (some in my own handwriting!) which I send – But they want checking.
Why was there no notice of Emily Daymond either in the Times or the RCM Magazine?²

2. Emily Daymond was amongst the first students at the Royal College of Music when it opened in 1883, the first woman Doctor of Music in England and the first Director of Music at the Royal Holloway College at Egham. She was a close friend of Parry and did much to prepare hitherto unpublished works for publication after his death.
