Letter from Adeline Vaughan Williams to Marion Scott
Letter No.: VWL3239
13 Cheyne Walk
June 5 [1920s]
Dear Miss Scott
I enclose Ivor Gurney’s letter – we were pleased that he mentions the Dictionary.1
Do you think he would like to see his ‘screed’ on Walt Whitman typed out? If so send it back to me & I will get it done – He might be tempted to improve it?
Yrs very sincerely
Adeline Vaughan Williams
1. Ivor Gurney, the composer, was in a psychiatric hospital. See VWL3011 for a reference to a dictionary of literature which Gurney appears to be requesting when VW visited him.
