Dear Miss Scott

So many thanks for your letter. What I had in my mind for Ivor was the possibility of his going to some doctor’s house in the country for a few weeks change – but perhaps no doctor would have him now that Dr. Robinson has this idea about Ivor’s tendencies – He dares not take any risk because of what has happened to another patient – I expect it is this rather than any definite change in Ivor.¹
I can so understand Ivor’s not wanting the “Entertainments”!
Ralph wants to send a contribution to your fund and will very soon.
I will tell Gerald Finzi what you say – I am so sorry that you have not had a successful holiday – I can imagine how glad you will be to be at home again.
