Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to G.E. Moore

Letter No.: VWL3288

From R. Vaughan Williams,
10, Hanover Terrace,
Regents Park,
London, N.W.1.

February 15th 1956.

Dear George,

I think it may amuse you to have a copy of my opera1 which you can glance at from time to time when nothing more serious intervenes. I have marked the copy showing what we do and what we leave out.
We must try and meet while we are in Cambridge.
Yrs

R. Vaughan Williams

1. The Cambridge Opera Group were to give a performance of Sir John in Love, see R.V.W.: a biography, p.369. In the event VW was unable to attend the performance, having caught a cold at Manchester.
