We are very sorry for our own sakes that we cannot be with you for the Festival.¹
I shall miss you, – but you need not miss me; you have an excellent and experienced Musical Director, & a splendid Secretary² – what more do you want?
So, good luck to you, and sing beautiful music beautifully. This after all is what our Festival is for.
