May 27th 1956.
Dear Tony,
I’ve had a first run through of your new tune and I think I am going to like it. I should like to see you about it very much.1 Could you come one of the following dates: May 28th or 29th, 30 or 31 morning only, 1st (any time) Tues 5th, up to 5pm, 6th ditto, 7th, 8th or 9th any time.
I am so glad to think you are writing again. I think it is quite a good plan to try and write some “attractive” music occasionally.
Our love to Ruth,
Yrs
