Letter from Ralph and Ursula Vaughan Williams to Cordelia Curle
Letter No.: VWL3663
Sept 14th 1955
Is this not lovely. We had a most marvellous & alarming 50 miles from Nauplia and Patras to Delphi [image – sign meaning bumpy] all the way. Rode up to the temple on a mule. Drank of the Castalian and bathed my head in it.
Ralph
There are such a lot of lovely wild flowers out, & we have both bathed in the warm and amazingly blue sea.
Love
