Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Guy Oldham
Letter No.: VWL3791
The White Gates,
Dorking, Surrey.
24th August, 1949.
Dear Mr. Oldham
Thank you for your letter. I shall probably be very glad to use your help as a copyist, though I have nothing at the moment. I will put your name and address in my book forĀ future reference.
Your music handwriting is evidently very good. I return the page you wrote out as a specimen in case you want to send it to someone else.
Yours sincerely
R Vaughan Williams
