That will be splendid. I will be at 4 Horbury Crescent at 7.30
And what can be prettier than a simple cotton frock? I like them so much better than those elaborate things you women are beginning to trail about in – so I know I shall think you looking nice.
They are rehearsing Betty¹ at 10.0 on Saturday morning – and I might manage to smuggle you in in my pocket – so if you think it worthwhile be at the orchestra door at 9.45. But be prepared for disappointment – H.J.W.² is fearfully particular – & if you are challenged I can’t ask – so you see how it is
