I’m so sorry about Dan¹ – but try again – Meanwhile certainly turn out all the funeral odes you are asked to – think of Lycidas & Thyrsis & Verdi’s Requiem!
I heard from Betty² the same day that your letter came – she is having her Suite³ done at the B.B.C. on March 21st & the symphony⁴ “tried through” on March 30th
