Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Vera Hockman
Letter No.: VWL3918
June 9th [1946?]
Dearest Verissima,
I hate to be pernickety – but I have made a strict rule never to sell my autograph. But here is a little something for the orchestra which small as it is will be probably much more than my autograph would fetch.
May I come & see you one day,
With love & many kisses
Uncle Ralph

Headed paper so probably after the war. “Verissima” seems to be first used in 1943.
