Dear Sir Alexander
I had occasion the other day to consult George’s¹ M.S folk song collection to answer a query by the EFDS.²  Do you not think it would be a good plan if these were lodged permanently in the E.F.D.S library? either as a gift or permanent loan?
If you agreed you would of course keep your control over them i.e. that they might not be printed without your consent. I spoke again to Allen³ about the Gramophone business and he said he would try and arrange a meeting
