1. VW conducted Serenade to Music at this event on 22 November, a St. Cecilia’s Day concert in the presence of the Queen in aid of the Musician’s Benevolent Fund, with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and choir. Hugo Rignold conducted the other works. During the interval VW, Rignold and others were presented to the Queen, and VW sat with her in the royal box for the second half of the concert.
