Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Martin Shaw

Letter No.: VWL4078

From R. Vaughan Williams,
10, Hanover Terrace,
Regents Park,
London, N.W.1.

September 1st 1955.

Dear Martin,
I have been talking to Alan Frank today, and he has convinced me that the publication of this new book1 will not affect the sales of our other books.  Of course we shall insist that everything that Leslie Russell does has our approval.  Alan Frank is writing to you himself about it.
We are leaving on Saturday morning for Greece and shall not be home till October 1st.  And we are looking forward to seeing you at the end of October.
Love from us both to you both,
yrs RVW
