Dear Mr. Le Fleming
Will you thank your mother very much for her kind invitation.  Thank you also or your letter with all the arrangements.  Miss Karpeles and I will come by the 9.30 from Waterloo.  I fear it will be impossible for me to stop the night but I notice that the last good train from Bournemouth is 6.30 which would not give us much time but I see that there is a very good train from Salisbury at 7.50.  I wonder if one could hire a car in Woodlands & go straight to Salisbury from there.  According to my map it appears not to be more than 15 miles from Woodlands to Salisbury so we should be able to stop at Woodlands till 6.45 so that if we could get there by 2.30 that would give us 4 hours, which I think would be the limit of our powers as collectors.  But I leave this all to you.  And I see that in the final resort there is an 11.50 from Bournemouth.
Yours sincerely
R Vaughan Williams1

I realize I cannot get an answer to this.
