Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Martin Shaw

Letter No.: VWL4199

From R. Vaughan Williams
10, Hanover Terrace,
Regents Park,
London, N.W.1.

March 20th 1954.

Dear Martin,
I fear that I have already, rather unthinkingly, accepted Alan Frank’s suggestion about royalties.  So will you write to him making you1 alternative suggestion?  Tell him, if you like, that I approve of writing.
Diccon2 showed me his revised songs the other day, and I have recommended them to the notice of Alan Frank.
Love to Joan
