Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Walter and Edith Stanton

Letter No.: VWL4292

From R. Vaughan Williams,
The White Gates,
Westcott Road,
Dorking.

October 14th 1952.

Dear Dr and Mrs Stanton,
Did you have a conspiracy with Kirstie Milford1 to arrange that the White Gates should flow with (Bristol) milk and honey? When ever I drink your health in it I shall think of the delightful time you gave me at Bristol.
It was so nice to see you at the I.S.M.2 dinner.
Yrs sincerely
R Vaughan Williams
