The White Gates
Dorking
March 30th [1953]
My dear Mary,
It will be lovely to see you, & either of the Saturdays you suggest will suit us, so we leave it to the Hornsteins1 entirely – Just let us know when to expect you.
Of course no mud: and we hoped it was your writing on our invitation2 – it sounds a most glamourous3 job.
We look forward to hearing all your news & Victors when you come
Love to you both,
Ursula
1. Yanya and Genia Hornstein, mutual friends in Dorking.
2. Possibly the invitation to the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II; Mary Sheppard appears to have been involved in the preparations (see VWL4340).
