Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Frances Cornford
Letter No.: VWL4433
[1913]
Dear Frances
I am disgraceful no to have written before but I was waiting to read it right through – Thankyou so much for sending it. I feel more strongly than ever that the witches ought to murmur & groan & howl – but not to sing regularly – but we might arrange a sort of mixture of both which wd be v. interesting
I wonder if Clive Carey would do for the wood-king?
Yours sincerely
R Vaughan Williams
