Dear Shaw
I’m writing to Dearmer suggesting that we should put in your tunes to “Let all the world” and “All hail ye little”, which are the two of yours I like v. much.  The difficulty is that those two tunes hymns have fairly good tunes to them already.
I feel awfully out of hymn tunes – but I feel all the rest rather “hymn tuney” – perhaps that is inevitable & I don’t feel in a position to judge – but then I think of your beautiful carol tunes.  I suppose the hymn idea is not so inspiring, but as I say I feel so out of the whole hymn business that I can’t give a proper judgement.  I hope Brer Rabbit1 is doing some ??
