Dear Miss Sharp
If it makes you happier you shall certainly re-imburse me the amount (probably 2d ½) that I shall have to pay as income tax.  And the arrangement between us shall be personal and not continue to our heirs and assigns.  As regards title I still can’t get over my surprise that our original title is not approved of.
But if we have to think of a new one I feel it ought to be something which suggests the nature of the story.  Would “The Empress & The Necromancer” do?  I suppose that “Dangerous Lips” would be too Filmy?
The person we have to consider, to my mind, is the shy young man coming into the ticket office with his young lady & saying “Have you got 2 good stalls on Thursday night for___”
