Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Gerald Cockshott
Letter No.: VWL4754
From R. Vaughan Williams,
10, Hanover Terrace,
Regents Park,
London, N.W.1.
July 11th 1954.
Dear Cockshott,
Thank you for your pamphlet and your folk song arrangement. I think the pamphlet is excellent. Your Dutch tune does not strike me very much, though your accompanyment is good. But I never judge of anything till I have heard it.
Bad news about the Viennese Matthew Passion film.
Kind regards,
yours,
R Vaughan Williams
